For people who are happy with their timeshare property it can seem like a vacation paradise when you visit your timeshare. Timeshares come in all sorts of exotic locations and have all the most luxurious accommodations and are often even cheaper than an equivalent vacation package.

However if you are trying to get rid of your timeshare and are having trouble this may not be the case for you. There are an increasing number of timeshare owners who want to get out of their timeshare and can’t. They have even tried getting help with advertising their desire to sell and still cannot sell.

The timeshare selling companies and resorts do not necessarily help these owners in any way in getting out of paying for their unwanted timeshare. These companies can be very stern in not helping and even trying to prevent people from ending their timeshare contracts.

Many owners have been lied to by fraudulent timeshare resale companies. Often times these people are called by the fake resale companies and told that someone wants to buy their timeshare property right now and that it will only cost a nominal upfront fee, which can range from $400 to $13,000. After they have paid for this false service they are ignored and have lost money without accomplishing what they set out to do which was get rid of their timeshare.

There are resale companies that actually promote a way to sell a timeshare, and they should not be confused with the many out there that do not. However, these sites do not promise any kind of actual sale. In many cases, owners are still left waiting to have their timeshare sell all the while continuing to pay maintenance fees.

If you need a timeshare exit badly then you should try the services of a timeshare transfer company. Timeshare Relief is a good timeshare transfer company that can help you with your timeshare troubles. Unfortunately many timeshare owners do not feel like they own a vacation paradise, for these people they need to get out of their timeshare, Timeshare Relief can help them.

Feel trapped by your timeshare? Find out what over 42,000 other timeshare owners did with their unwanted timeshares. Timeshare Relief, Inc. can help. Go to www.timesharerelief360.com or call 1-866-797-0535 and request a free consultation right now.

Timeshare FoolEvery April Fools Day, there are tens of thousands of pranks played on people.  Most are rather harmless and end up being funny for both the prankster and fool.  It’s good to get in a good laugh now and then.

Every year, there are tens of thousands of timeshare owners who want to get rid of their timeshares.  They certainly are not fools, but they do not want to foolishly pay for something (their timeshare) that they’ll no longer use or want.  But they have not been able to discover how to get out of their timeshare contracts.  It’s not funny to pay hundreds, if not thousands needlessly.

Timeshare Relief and its timeshare owner advocates want to help stop the yearly cycle of timeshare bills for those owners who simply want to find a way out.  Many Timeshare Relief clients have tried to sell their timeshares, donate their timeshares or give them away.  But even after paying for advertising, listing fees, broker fees, market assessment fees, or more, yet they still wind up with their timeshares back in their possession.

Timeshare Relief provides a solution for owners.  We transfer timeshares out of the names of the respective owners so that they are not responsible for the financial obligations associated with their timeshares ever again.   A service fee is charged for this service.  But if you consider the time and money in “wasted” fees, the amount makes sense in the longer term.

The solution offered by Timeshare Relief is not for everyone.  We realize that you as a timeshare owner would love to receive some money back for your timeshare that you spent a lot of money for.  The reality is that for many, their timeshares will not resell because the maintenance fees and the potential for special assessments exceed the value of a timeshare.

In case you like to find out more about Timeshare Relief, please go to www.timesharerelief360.com and fill out the contact information form on the page, or call our headquarters at 1-866-797-0535 and speak to one of our friendly and expert representatives.  They will be able to provide you more information.

And no, we will not make you the fool even on April Fool’s Day…

Mom and daughter at the beachIf you’ve read this blog for any reasonable amount of time, you know that it is rather critical of timeshare contracts and the timeshare resales market.  But, we hope our readers understand that we understand that there are timeshare owners who love their timeshares and we fully support them in their ownership.

While maintenance fees are low and owners are young enough to enjoy their timeshares on a regular basis, it can be a wonderful experience.  There’s a certain status of luxury living that goes along with timeshares, and sharing it with family and friends can form some lasting vacation memories.

In fact, I’m going to a timeshare in Palms Spring this year with friends who own there.  I’m sure we’re going to have a fantastic time, and I’m not going to complain being able to hang out with good company, eating good food and wine, and having a good time.

Would my friends been able to afford a downpayment on a luxury vacation condo or home?  Probably not.  They purchased a timeshare instead.  Do I hound them with everything I know about timeshares?  No, I hate being a wet blanket, but we have had discussions.

I’m just glad that they know what they’ve bought into.  They understand that their maintenance fees will go up, that they will pay special assessments, and that the timeshare resales market is difficult.  But, they are a little more care free knowing that Timeshare Relief is around when the time comes to get rid of the timeshare.

Celebrity Resorts, formerly known as Resort World, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.  Being unable to pay back tens of millions of dollars in debt, the resort company had little choice but to declare bankruptcy to move forward.  Of the 13 properties the company reportedly owns, one in particular has been thrust into the spotlight, the David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort & Spa in Genoa, Nevada.

Celebrity Resorts had been the managing partner of the property.  There had been threats of special assessment fees as high as $939 per timeshare owner, or the resort would have been closed.  Fortunately, that option was not passed, and the resorts will continue to operate with scaled back on amenities and services.   Because of alleged mismanagement by Celebrity Resorts, the Walley’s Property Owners Association filed an action to appoint Quintus resorts as receiver of the association’s assets and accounting records.  Quintas has the largest remaining number of timeshares at the resort.

Celebrity Resorts started as a family-owned business that sold time shares in the Caribbean in the 1970s and then in the Orlando, Florida area in the 1980s.
