If you go to the home webpage of Timeshare Relief, make sure you visit the Our Team section and read about some of the people that make up the company.  One thing that you’ll notice right away is the sheer number of people that work with the company.  (There are even more, but not everyone likes to have a public profile.)

Timeshare Relief people

Understand that everyone is proud to be associated with Timeshare Relief and the services we provide to our clients.  That’s why we have so many profiles online, including the co-founders of the company, the executive staff, our travel team of timeshare owner advocates, our customer service team and our internet team.

Look, transparency in business is very important especially in today’s information age.  We know that timeshare owners have been targeted by shady, fly-by-night companies and people in the timeshare resales market.  These timeshare scams hide behind anonymity and deception.  It’s one of the reasons why we want to do the opposite!

It’s rare to have people stand up for what they believe in.  Yet, there are dozens and dozens at Timeshare Relief, starting with David Macmillan and Cindy Martin Macmillan, the co-founders of the company.  We’re all passionate about helping owners get out of bad situations and begin the financial healing process.

We hope that you get to know us.  We look forward to meeting you either in person or on the telephone.  Then, we hope to earn your business if you feel that you want to make a decision to get rid of your timeshare and achieve some financial relief.

Timeshare Relief Ray Green In-House Legal CounselRunning a successful company requires not only good business practices like outstanding service and customer care, but the behind-the-scenes activity is equally as important.  By retaining strong legal counsel headed by Mr. Ray Green, Timeshare Relief is better able to navigate the sometimes difficult channels of the transfer of timeshares.  States have different rules and laws.  Sometimes laws change so that the company has to adapt.  Sometimes legal issues arise when transferring a timeshare out of an owner’s name.  The bottom line is that Timeshare Relief wants to protect our clients and do the right thing to make sure that our clients receive the service that they expect.

Mr. Green grew up in the Rancho Palos Verdes area.  He did his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley where he received his degree in Architecture.   Shortly thereafter, he headed up to Sacramento, California to attend the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and graduated with his JD before passing and being admitted to the California Bar in 1986.  Mr. Green focused his legal practice on Real Estate law and Business and Estate Planning.  His expertise led him to work with the owners of Timeshare Relief, David Macmillan and Cindy Martin Macmillan.  With mutual agreement, Mr. Green became in-house counsel for Timeshare Relief.

Ray can usually be found in his office at the Timeshare Relief headquarters buried in paperwork and occasionally accompanied by his playful dog.  He also enjoys his favorite pastimes — fishing, camping, and skiing.

Timeshare Relief - David Macmillan and Cindy MartinCo-founders of Timeshare Relief, Cindy Martin and David Macmillan started the company after experiencing the difficulties of trying to get rid of their timeshare.  One of the reasons for the success of Timeshare Relief is due to the fact that they can personally relate to all timeshare owners who have had troubles with their timeshares.

Back in 1999, Cindy and David were invited to a timeshare presentation fully expecting to walk away with a free gift after spending 90 minutes enduring the hard sales pitch.  Like many timeshare owners before them, they walked out owning a timeshare contract instead.

They soon discovered that scheduling time at their timeshare was problematic.  The timeshare required nearly a year in advance to book and availability seemed scarce.  With a heavy workload and family considerations, it was nearly impossible plan so far in the future.

Instead of paying for something that they did not use, Cindy and David tried to get rid of their timeshare, at first trying to sell it.  They paid a real estate broker upfront to sell it, and were disappointed when the timeshare was only “listed” for sale and not one buyer contacted them.  They tried many other methods, meeting other timeshare owners along the way with similar experiences.

In 2004, after finding a solution for timeshare owners who wanted to rid themselves of unwanted timeshares, Cindy and David launched Timeshare Relief, Inc.  They put together a small team dedicated to helping people.  Today, Timeshare Relief has been recognized in the Inc. 500 and has received other business awards.  Most importantly, tens of thousands of timeshare contracts no longer burden the clients of Timeshare Relief.

At Timeshare Relief, we like to give credit where credit is due. We understand that it takes a tremendous team effort to help timeshare owners who want out of their timeshare contracts. While clients may speak to one of our remarkable timeshare consultants face-to-face or over the phone, there are many more staff members that work tirelessly behind the scenes making sure that the transfers go through correctly and everything is accounted for properly.

With the growth of the company, many new people have joined. It’s funny how many are impressed with the positive atmosphere and dedication to the clients fostered by their colleagues. There is a feeling of family and certainly one of teamwork.

We want to take this opportunity to say “Thank You!” to everyone at Timeshare Relief and to all the thousands of timeshare owners that trusted us enough to handle their timeshare transfer with professionalism and care.
