Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum and his office are focused on protecting timeshare owners from alleged deceptive business practices of timeshare resales companies that bilk owners for services that over-promise and under-deliver.  Seventeen Florida companies were subpoenaed for this investigation:

  • Executive Timeshare Marketing, Tamarac
  • Coastal Timeshare Solutions, Boca Raton
  • Worldwide Resorts Direct and Worldwide Marketing Solutions of Palm Beach dba Worldwide Timeshare, West Palm Beach
  • TS Luxury Group, Lake Worth
  • C& G Marketing Associates LLC dba Premier Timeshare Solutions, Palm Beach Gardens
  • Nationwide Marketing Solutions Inc. dba Magnum Advertising Services, Lake Worth
  • International Resort Solutions LLC, Lake Worth
  • E.A.T. Sales LLC, Boca Raton
  • Euroamerican Timeshare LLC, Boynton Beach
  • Transatlantic Timeshare LLC, Boynton Beach
  • Seabreeze Advertising Corp., also known as SBA, Corp., Daytona Beach
  • Timeshare Market Pro, Davie
  • International Marketing and Finance, Wellington
  • Gold Crown Property Management, Dunedin
  • Vacation Property Resales dba BuyATimeshare.com, Tampa
  • Timeshare Only, Orlando
  • PFS Concepts dba US Vacation, Largo

In the past year, six other companies reached settlements in their disputes:

  • World Timeshares Inc., Deerfield Beach
  • Timeshare Travels, Boca Raton
  • Vacation Property Trader, Deerfield Beach
  • Preferred Vacation Resorts dba Preferred Property Services Inc., Preferred Property Services.com Inc., Clearwater
  • D&D Vacations dba United States Property Services, Largo
  • S.F.C. Group dba TWA Resale, Orlando

“Florida’s consumers are trying to make prudent financial decisions, but many timeshare resale companies are blatantly scamming people by promising sales or refunds and failing to provide services even after taking hefty upfront fees,” McCollum said in a news release.

We have reported on these alleged timeshare resales scams before on this blog.  We’ve heard first-hand accounts from many Timeshare Relief clients.  We hear stories from a timeshare owner paying $500 to $1500 to timeshare listing companies claiming to be resellers.  The owners rarely hear from the companies once they pay upfront.

Timeshare Relief fully supports all Attorneys General in all states to crackdown on such practices that add insult to timeshare owners who are already desperate to get rid of their timeshares.
